Natural Spa FactorY

We helped the Natural Spa Factory create a six month marketing and PR plan and provided them with engaging copy and branding suggestions for their trade and retail communications, trade surveys and magazine ads.  We also created a high-end company brochure for the sales team and as an introduction to influential beauty editors and beauty bloggers.

All of the activity was centred around seasonal promotions such as their New Year Detox gift set, their Whisky A Go Go Scrub for Burns Night, Romeo & Juliet gift set for Valentine's Day and other products for Mother's Day and Easter.  Retail sales increased significantly in January 2016 which is traditionally a quiet month after the Christmas rush.

TOUCHPOINT DESIGN

Good Crowd was appointed by Touchpoint Design to launch the rebrand of their business. We created a marketing strategy which included devising their mission statement, assigning brand attributes, researching competitor and target markets, carrying out a SWOT analysis and suggesting media campaigns.

We initiated and wrote content for a series of e-newsletters and blogs, as well as assisting in the production of a powerfully visual flyer which was mailed to their business contacts.  These projects were supported by a PR campaign and networking opportunities.

 

Forest of Imagination

 

Good Crowd worked closely with the Forest of Imagination PR team to help raise over £10,000 via Kickstarter to put on its free, participatory, contemporary arts event in Queen's Square,  Bath on 15th-18th May, 2015.

This pop-up immersive experience featured world-class architects, designers and artists and hosted a playful programme of installations, artworks and workshops with the engagement of children and the arts at it's heart.

By creating content, launching a social media campaign, supporting press campaigns, promoting development in the programme, creating and promoting videos of artists' workshops and interactive art installations on YouTube and providing time lapse video and photographic content, Good Crowd ensured that The Forest's ethos and impact reached a significantly wider audience.

Roger Harrop Associates

We were appointed to launch and market Roger Harrop's new book WIN! How to succeed in the new game of business. 

We built a LinkedIn community around the book to generate reviews.  This resulted in over 60 five star ratings on Amazon. We also wrote several targeted and individual blogs and articles for leading online, magazine and broadsheet business pages. These included The Guardian, Talk Business, Smarta and Flybe's in-flight magazine Flight Time to name but a few. Through our campaign, Roger was invited to be a member of the Director magazine virtual board, commenting on business issues on a regular basis, and also a member of the RBS Talking Business director panel. 

All activity was supported by a social media campaign which resulted in 25,960 views on YouTube. Our content resulted in a huge increased in traffic to Roger Harrop's website.

SCHOOL GUIDE

School Guide (www.schoolguide.co.uk) is an independent resource which offers the most comprehensive schools data set in the UK. The Bath based business has gone from strength to strength, winning numerous awards and accolades, as well as securing partnerships with Mumsnet and RightMove.

We have worked with School Guide on a project by project basis over the last few years, providing marketing consultancy and regional PR, as well as introducing them to business contacts that have helped their business thrive.

INSIDEASIA TOURS

We were appointed by InsideAsia Tours Ltd to create a brand identity for their new destination – Burma, to rework their current brands, to give their holding company an identity of its own and to create an overall architecture and strategy for all of their brands.

The business started as InsideJapan Tours over 14 years ago and is now one of the market leaders, whereas the holding company, InsideAsia Tours, was completely unknown in the industry and wouldn’t provide the same customer offering so the reputation of the original brand couldn’t be compromised.   InsideVietnam Tours included luxury travel to Cambodia and Laos but the brand didn’t reflect this. In addition, their brands were being promoted in isolation which was confusing for customers and also prevented cross-selling opportunities.

The project commenced with a series of brand workshops with their UK, US and Japan based staff.  This involved in-depth meetings, customer and agent research and competitor analysis.  The findings were summarised and formed the basis of their brand strategy.

We suggested sharpening up the design of their insideJapan Tours brand; reworking their InsideVietnam Tours brand so that customers understood the breadth of their offering; creating a new brand for InsideAsia Tours and finally, a new boilerplate that would be used on all of their marketing collateral to clearly pull together all of their brands.  

 

THE HOTEL NANNY

Good Crowd worked with The Hotel Nanny for more than a year to create a prestigious brand that would reflect the luxury nature of their business.  

The Hotel Nanny was launched by owner, Angela Roach, after she realised that very few luxury hotels catered for parents with young children.  It was a unique idea that would tap into a niche market.

Initially, we provided a bespoke website which featured news, blogs and several galleries. After an extensive requirements analysis we set up an online booking system through the CheckFront online platform. The site was awarded Bronze standard in the Mumpreneur website awards.

Further work included a photo shoot to provide a bank of bespoke images for the website and PR activity.  Social media channels were set up and training given.  Our PR campaign continued throughout the year and secured coverage in some of the leading luxury, lifestyle and hotel magazines.  We promoted endorsements from Mark Owen and Pixie McKenna.  Other projects included online advertising campaigns, sponsorship opportunities, direct mail campaigns and e-newsletters which helped The Hotel Nanny launch into the London market.

The Hotel Nanny was featured in the Guardian Small Business Showcase for Marketing & PR Excellence.
